Sorry for the lack of updates! I’ve been sick and really busy, but thank God, it’s finally winter break!

So in the 3+ weeks I’ve been dead, much has happened. First, I got an audition for the role of Jade in the upcoming Bratz live action movie. So I got to New York, and everyone at the agency was like “Oh my God you’re going to be rich and famous!” while I was like “…sure…”. Long story short, the trip there was awful (me and mom arguing on the streets, stupid thugs feeling me up), and they actually made me sing for the audition, and I conveniently forgot the lyrics to “Colors of the Wind” half way through. Needless to say, I did not get the part, but eh, there will always be next time.

Christmas was great, though there was no snow at all. No Christmas tree either, because I was too lazy to set everything up. But Christmas presents were excellent: a coach bag, 3 pairs of shoes, 2 rings, more than $500 worth of clothes, disney posters, the little mermaid dvd, books, stuffed animals, more handbags and accessories, and of course, candy!

My break was spent working (4+ hours a day at The Limited). Not that bad as the other sales associates are nice, but my feet are killing me. Oh well, at least I’ll have money to spend after the break is over

Speaking of money, I got a $15000 scholarship into UMBC and a $5000 scholarship into Philadelphia University. UMBC is very tempting, as its dorms are hotel suite style, and that scholarship means I don’t need to pay a thing Also got a recommendation for the presidential scholars program at FIT, but it’s too much of a hassle. Besides, I hate New York City now…stupid thugs.

Ok, so I had a lot more I was going to write, but once again, I’m getting sick of this blog (I need to get rid of this habit). Perhaps I’ll post more once my new layout is up, but right now my photo shop isn’t working, which makes me mad.Error processing request

I got a hamster! I still find it hard to believe that my mom would actually agree, but she did. It’s a male dwarf hamster, very tiny, and very cute. I was having trouble coming up with a name, but eventually me (and my friends) agreed on Timmy (named after this really cute guy I used to know…haha), but I prefer to call him shnookums.
However, my dad is NOT pleased at all, as he thinks I’m irresponsible and I’ll probably make my mom do all the cleaning. He was willing to bet in 3 weeks time, I’ll lose interest in Timmy. Now that just pisses me off. What kind of parent thinks so negatively about their child? Yeah, I used to be like that, but how will you know I haven’t changed if you won’t give me the chance to prove it?

Remember that homework my Economics teacher gave during the Thanksgiving break? Well, I found out I got a D on it, and now I just loathe her even more. It’s bad enough she gave homework over the holidays, and a hard one too, but she actually graded it and gave a D? I think I’m going to add her to my blacklist some day.

Going shopping with Jin on Friday. Actually, not so much shopping for me as looking for a part-time job. That substitute teacher position at JRP is still in the air, so I think I’m going to check out positions at The Limited or Limited Too. Wish me luck!
