Goodbye Windows, hello Apple!

Yes, I’ve officially switched over to the Mac side (my Window loving friends call it the dark side, )! As some of you might know, my poor yet poop of a laptop died on me the other day and refused to boot. The recovery disk that came with the laptop didn’t work, probably because it was a burned copy. Ghetto much?

Anyways, I’ve been eying the Macbook Pro for a while now, since it’s one of the top recommended laptops for doing design work, and the day came sooner than I expected that I would get my hands on one of these babies. I ended up getting the 15″ Macbook Pro with 2.53GHz and 4gb DDR 3 ram. I was able to get the college student discount, which means $100 off the laptop PLUS a free Ipod Touch and all-in-one printer. Needless to say, I’ve never been this happy that a computer of mine crashed

Some people say Mac is overrated, but those that use it love it. I don’t blame them, but then again, to quote a friend, “any computer I buy would’ve been better than the piece of crap from before”. Touche. Now I’m just waiting to get the salvaged files from my old laptop before I can fully go back to designing Error processing request
