Happy year of the rabbit!

I know I’m a day late, but I’ve been feeling under the weather lately, so without much further ado, I want to wish everyone a happy lunar new year!

What are your hopes for the year of the rabbit?

As you may (or may not) know, this year is the year of the rabbit :) People born in this year1 are kind, sensitive, reserved, artistic, shy, compassionate, and flexible. However, they can also be moody, superficial, self-indulgent, and stubborn. If you’re a rabbit, do you think the description is accurate? Personally I’ve never really believed in the Chinese zodiac because I find it too generic, but that’s just me.

All of my extended family members are in Taiwan, so we really don’t do much during holidays. Do any of you guys celebrate lunar new year? If so, do you do anything special?Error processing request

We don't really celebrate it in the UK. My mum would normally just cook some extra yummy food or head to a friends on the weekend.

This year she just made some festive food.

Most of our family are in Hong Kong or China. There's only my family here in the UK.

    Happy New Year :D

We don't actively celebrate the Lunar New Year. But, my sister is born during the year of The Rabbit. When I told her 'her' year had begun she was really happy and felt inspired :D

I do recognize her in the description you gave, but it's definitely a generic one lol z ~

I have no idea what my chinese zodiac is – where do you find this stuff out??

    We don't celebrate it. =(

I find the zodiac signs to be accurate most of the times. I guess it's that moment you're reading it and thinking. Oh my gosh. Really? Lol.

There was a "Chinese New Year festival" on the city centre so I went and watched a dragon-dance show for a moment. But otherwise I did not celebrate it in any particular way. I was born on year of the rabbit. We'll see how this year will be for me :)

    cuuute bunny pic ^^

Unfortunately, there was no celebration for my family this year, but i agree that the zodiacs are a bit too generic..at least it compliments each individual base on what furry animal they are XD

Happy New Year! I don't really follow any of the zodiacs, but they can be fun to read XD I think some features of the ox are accurate to me.

I celebrated with a traditional dinner at my parents' :3

I was born in the year of the rabbit and this description fits me perfectly. Although I generally don't believe in zodiac… but sometimes it's scary how accurate they can be.

Ever year it's different in my family. Some years we'll do something big, some years we won't. It just depends on the time and what everyone is doing. This year, we didn't do much due to family problems.
