I’m not a shopaholic for nothing

Ok, so I call myself a shopaholic, but I’ve never really talked about it much on my blog. So to do that name justice, here is my first video (like, oh em gee) with reviews on my small haul/collection of Cover Girl makeup:

If you don’t want to watch, here are the products I reviewed and my verdicts in a nutshell:
LashBlast Luxe Mascara – no shimmer at all, and started clumping after 2nd use
Outlast Lipstain (Flirty Nude & Wild Berry Wink) – limited selection of colors, easy to apply and lasts long
Shineblast Lipgloss – nice shine + not sticky + weird smell + color doesn’t show + small bottle =
Trublend Mineral Blush (Pure Romance) – gives me a soft shimmer + hint of pink, great for creating rosy shimmery cheeks
Smoky Shadow Blast (Onyx) – glides on smoothly, doesn’t crease, and blends well. unfortunately, it also smudges easily.

So yes? No? Should I do more of these? I have 2 shipments of NYX cosmetics coming and lots of other products I wanna talk about

I always wanted to try outlast..but was scared it'd be clumpy!I may go get it now..the trublend sounds good too but I tend to shy away from blushes

(I love your hair!) I'm such a shopholic myself, but I'm so broke right now, so I just shop for basics these days, hahaha. I might try some Outlast Lipstain since I always find it hard finding a lip make-up that lasts throughout the day.

Thanks! I had my hair digitally permed in January…and it usually looks messy, but it was behaving itself that day The lipstain is definitely good if you want something long lasting, but make sure you put on several layers, because apparently, my mom only applied one layer, and it was gone in a couple hours

If that big white box is Youtube, that would explain why I can't see the video, but I think product reviews are always interesting, especially for makeup. It's too expensive to go out and try it all yourself, so I find these kinds of articles really helpful, .

You're so pretty! I love your hair! I've never tried any of the products you reviewed so this is great. I've tried the original Lashblast and didn't like it as much as everyone else that raved about it. It didn't do much to my lashes and was a pain in the butt to remove.

Thanks! I had it digitally permed in January, and I happened to have a good hair day that day…it's not usually that nice Yes, I've heard the original Lashblast was hell to remove, especially if you got the waterproof version. I'm not a fan of CG mascara, Maybelline is still the best for me

I like to do reviews (unboxings) on YouTube too. But since they're related to videogames I'm not really keen on getting infront of the cam. Let's say I'm a little scared of fanboys *gulp*

Thanks! I love watching makeup review videos as well, and that is what inspired me in the first place. I was a little iffy about showing my face on video, especially on Youtube (God forbid should one of my IRL friends see it), but I've gotten over that fear now

Ah yes, organic products. I never got into the hype, though I am starting to use more “natural” products for my hair. I’ll definitely look more into it when I get the chance (and the money).

Haha, yes, even if you're not into makeup, a simple lip gloss (or even mascara if you're up for it, ) can make your face look a lot more fresh and awake

It's really useful hearing people's opinions on products, and even though I don't think we have Cover Girl in the UK, hearing what you think of effects and brushes etc is useful.

I love lip pens, they're so much easier to use. And I recently bought Revlon's colorstay, it's not a pen, but the sponge makes applying it quicker and you have more control over it.
