It’s already the last week of break?!
This winter break went by WAY fast, and even though I’ve already enjoyed 4 weeks of it, it felt like only a week
. This year’s winter break was definitely one of my better ones. It’s as cold as %&*#$, but you know your break was awesome if you can still have fun despite that
Of course, it would be perfect if I didn’t have to take some joke of an online class, but more on that later.
The first weekend of winter break, I went to Philly with my boyfriend and participate in some cultural (for once!) activities. Well, activity. We attended a Christmas concert by the Philadelphia Orchestra, and they seriously should not blast the heater in there. Yeah, I know it’s cold outside, but warmth + comfy seats + classical music = ZZZZZ! We didn’t fall asleep, but it was close. So much for culture and sophistication,
.
The rest of the night we visited my friend Rachel and she took us bar hopping in Old Town. It was pretty nice because there’s no cover, and drinks were mad cheap at this one place, but omg, creepers much? Not just in numbers, but in creepiness as well.
But creepies aside, it was mad fun.

So much fun the end of the night was pretty much a blur. No I didn't black out. I just have terrible memory when I drink
The next highlight of my break was New Year’s Eve1. We decided to do something posh and classy this year, so instead of the usual house party, we attended one in the Grand Hyatt in DC. Poshness comes at a cost though: $130
It’s no biggie for my friends, because they all have full-time jobs, but my wallet definitely mourned over that $130.
No regrets though, because we had a LOT of fun. There was free food, free booze, and a live band – The Dan Band. They’re the band that was in School of Rock and The Hangover2. But again, MAD creepers. One guy literally pulled some girl and started making out with her when the ball dropped

The girls <3 I covered their faces just to be on the safe side3
- that my professor is a lazy bum who copies his quiz questions from someone else
- that bs-ing your homework and your paper still gets you 100%.
- that I totally could’ve slacked more. Grades don’t transfer, only the credits.
Well, at least that’s over and done with. Now I can just focus on my internship, my 2 design projects, and a personal project. Speaking of design, I finally revamped my portfolio, and I finally got drafted into Dribbble!
