I posted a video for this a while back, but for those of you that aren’t subscribed to my Youtube channel1 or just don’t like watching videos in general, I figured I’d write a post on my favorite beauty products for the month of June. Of course, for those of you who don’t like reading, here’s my June beauty favorites video2
- Mac Fix+ Spray. This little baby gets rid of the cakey look of powder and gives me a dewy glow instead. I give my face one spray after I finish applying my makeup, then do an all-over sweep with my kabuki brush.
- DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossoms. A very fresh yet feminine scent, perfect for the summer days and for class.
- NYX 10 color palette in Smokey Eye. My go-to palette for a night look. The powder is very pigmented, and it comes with both matte and shimmer colors.
- NYX 10 color palette in Romance. My go-to palette for day look. All the colors come with a hint of shimmer, but the neutral tones balance that out.
- Tarte EmphasEYES eye pencil. Perfect for the summer when I’ll be sweating or around water. This waterproof eye pencil makes sure the liner stays on my eyes all day long, and it’s thin enough to use for your inner rims.
- H2O+ facial cleansing brush. Works great with a foaming cleanser. The brush is soft yet does a wonderful job of exfoliating. My skin is now softer and smoother from using this daily.
- NYX lipgloss in Perfect. The perfect peachy pink that reminds me of the Nars Orgasm. Very pigmented colors and not sticky at all.
- L’oreal H.I.P jelly balm in Plush. A lip balm that packs a punch of color that leaves my lips soft and a pretty shade of pink.
Do you have any favorite summer beauty products? If so, please share in the comments, I’d love to know what they are!

Katy says:
I love NYX eye shadows too.. they are almost on par with Mac with the pigmentation. Do the NYX lip glosses stay on for long?
Jenny says:
It stays on about the same as all my other lip glosses, so I’d say about average?
Patji says:
Would it be sad of me to say that my favorite beauty product is probably my Burt’s Bess chap stick? I need to start learning how to use make-up and probably start buying some too, but… they are just so intimidating, especially their prices ^^;;
Cat says:
Ooh, I’ve been wanting to find a new eye pencil. I should look into that one. I’m not into make-up that much, so I don’t really have a favorite summer beauty product XD;;
Malin says:
I have never tried a product from Mac before but the Mac Fix+ Spray seems like a good buy! Have you tried any other sprays like that?
Becky says:
Oh, I love pale pinks and other pastels – it reminds me so much of France. I don’t wear much makeup, so my routine doesn’t change season per season, but your collection is so fresh!
Emily says:
I’m not big on makeup. I’m more of a lotion/lip balm freak. ^_^;;
I swear I have lotion of every scent for every occasion. Same goes for lip balm, I love the fruity scents!
So in other words, that L’oreal lip balm is something I’ll have to get
Tina says:
I’m now curious about the Mac Fix+ Spray. Before I found my lovely TIGI Liquid Foundation (which I really recommend – it’s also a skin treatment filled with lots of vitamins!), I used L’Oreal’s Infallible foundation I tend to get a very powdery face and this one sounds like it’d solve the problem.
I’m a huge foundation fan because my skin is masochistic. It becomes really shiny and clear when I use it and wash it off, but if I don’t use foundation in over five days, it’ll become greasy. Wear it for five-six hours each day then wash it off thoroughly, my face gets less acne and redness. X____X
Shouldn’t it be the reverse? Though, the one I use is also a skin treatment, so maybe that’s why, lol.
Jessica says:
Ooh that number 6 looks interesting. i was thinking about maybe buying a brush/scrub like that for my face because i saw the commercial for the neutrogena wave and thought it looked cool but i dont use those cleansers, i use st. ives. im definitely gonna be on the look out though for something like that brush you posted
i usually have the same face routine throughout the year. foundation, powder, gold/brown eye shadow, eyeliner, lip gloss…its the same for me so i dont have any “summer” favorites lol
Amanda says:
I find that I love LashFood mascara it is awesome.
I also like powdered foundation, all day lipglos little to no shadow and just eyeliner. That way I dont sweat everything away.
Trisha says:
I’ve never really been into make-up. I just wear eyeliner.
Of course, I wear some eyeshadow if it’s a special occasion, but never anything else.
I subscribed anyway.
Cat II says:
I think what little makeup I do own is starting to mold… I haven’t touched it in years.
That being said, unless I’m performing on stage, I don’t wear makeup. (Only cause I’m too lazy to, and it’d melt in the hot weather here.)
PS. Wanna exchange links?
Jenny says:
Lol, that’s like the makeup I bought back in middle school and even high school…I’d never touch them (don’t know why I even bought them to begin with), and by the time I actually took a serious interest in makeup, all those ones I bought way back in the days all smelled funny
PS. Sure, will add you asap!
Megan says:
I know absolutely nothing about make-up. The only time I’ve ever worn it was at Halloween or when playing dress up. That H2O+ facial cleansing brush would be handy though, my skin isn’t very well taken care of.
Jenny says:
I didn’t get into makeup until recently, but it’s something you get the hang of the more you play around with it.
Olivia H. says:
I don’t have any beauty products for real… I got some uh… Carmex, lol. Nice list though
Krystal says:
I watched that video a while back. Looks like you have many new subs, congrats girls. Keep going
Sapphire says:
love the eyeshadow rose palette
i use similar shades from the victoria secret brand but it doesn’t come with as much colors. thanks for this
my favorite summer beauty products? i’d say the pure empreinte masque by lancome! it’s great for the summer! i feel super clean after using it!
