Merry Christmas!

It’s not officially Christmas at the east coast of USA, but I know for the other half of the world, it already is, so a big Merry Christmas shout out to everyone there! Here’s a little Christmas card I made, featuring my second origami vector character: Santa. Yeah, ok, I know the name isn’t exactly original, but seriously, what do you expect? Mimi has also been given an update with new shaded ears, so check that out.

I was at the mall earlier today with the boyfriend to do some VERY last minute holiday shopping, and no thanks to the 16-inch snow storm that had us all snowed in for the weekend and then some, so were a lot of other people. I also got my Christmas gift from him, which is a Sony CyberShot W220 in pink :) I haven’t gotten around to playing with it yet, but once I do, expect lots of photos!

Hope everyone has a lovely holiday and stays warm!

Hi, Merry Christmas to you! Wow, you made another work well done! That Christmas card you made is so cute and I’ve seen the updated version of Mimi which became better. What program do you use for drawing? I’m just curious, haha! BTW, you’re so lucky because you got a camera from your bf. That’s sweet! And I’m not sure if that Sony CyberShot W220 is my dream camera because I have a dream camera which is a Sony Cybershot and pink in color too. Haha! Take care!

Glad you like Santa and Mimi ver2! I actually use a photo of the real origami Santa & Mimi and allow VectorMagic to work its magic (no pun intended). I do some editing in the program myself, and I draw on the face in Photoshop. There’s an online version of VectorMagic if you want to try it out.

There are 3 pink Sony Cybershots, the W220, TX1, and T90, the latter 2 being the slim version.

That much snow… poor you guys!! The weather has been soo nice here in Vancouver lately.. it was pretty warm today and if this keeps up, I don’t know if there’s going to be any snow up in the mountains for the 2010 Olympics! =S

Anyway, hope you had a good Christmas and have a happy new year. =)
