Movie reviews and some more

Ok, I know I haven’t been active with blogging lately, but business is booming at Wing Stranger Productions like none other, so that, plus my internship, has been keeping me on my toes. Well, those things and spending time with friends, hence, 3 more reviews:

Brunoo_o -_- -_- -_- :D
I had a lot of mixed feelings when watching this movie, but as you can see from my rating, it was mostly feelings of disgust. Seriously, I felt like I was watching bad porno more than half of the time, and other parts, I was either laughing at the very uncreative jokes they repeated from Borat or in a state of aftershock from the amount of obscene nudity. The shock factor was definitely there, but the good movie factor wasn’t. FAIL.

Public Enemies*_* *???* -_- -_- -_-
The yum icon is simply there because seriously, Johnny Depp and Christian Bale, how can you not go :9? Gave it one confused icon because, well, I was confused. So John Dillinger (played by Johnny Depp) just sees this girl, and the next minute he decides he’s in love with her? That and lots of other small things that I don’t remember because I was too busy trying to stay awake. If I had to use one word to describe this movie, it’d be BORING. I wanted to leave the theater and was so relieved when the movie finally ended. In other words, the eye candy was not worth a long boring confusing plot.

Huan Zhu Ge Ge – Aka, Princess of the Returning Pearl, or Princess Huan Zhu. For those of you who watch Asian dramas, this is an effin classic. My friend got me the dvd of the first season, and I’ve been watching it nonstop since, many times. Seriously, I’d say that other dramas were good, but I’d never watch them again and again. But this? This stuff is just too damn good. Seriously, go watch it, now. I command you.

Ok, so the last one wasn’t a movie review, but it was just too good to not share with people.Error processing request

i heard so many mixed reviews about bruno, but mostly the fact that they came out of there feeling dirty and awkward haha. i don't plan on seeing it any time soon (or maybe not EVER).

public enemies seems like it'd be good and i've never seen or heard of the last one! but since you gave it a good review, maybe i'll go watch it. :D

Wow, I thought Bruno was going to be good. My friend said it was filled with a bunch of gay porno scenes, but I didn't believe her because she's conservative when it comes to movies. Good thing I didn't see it. THANK YOU!

Mmmmm, Christian Bale = LOOOOVE! Hmm, he might be worth the boringness for me, though. ;) Does he get naked?! *jumps up and down cuz that's all she really cares about*

I might check out the drama, but I prefer Japanese ones, since that's the language I'm trying to learn. :/

    Thanks for the reviews. :)

I had a feeling that Bruno would be somewhat of a stupid movie. It's one of those type of movies that I wouldn't pay to see.

I looooooooooooove to look at Johnny Depp. Gawd, He is gorgeous. Especially in the movie Secret Window. Psycho and gorgeous. Can't go wrong there. :P

I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about Bruno. From looking at it myself, it doesn't look like my type of movie to be honest. Looks pretty offensive.

Oh my gosh Huan Ju Ge Ge… that was like what, 1998?! I got made fun of in elementary school because all of my classmates watched it and I didn't because my parents thought it was intellectually inferior. Hilarious stuff though.

Not looking forward to Bruno =|

I've only seen bits of Bruno, and mostly everyone I know either a) found it extremely offensive, b) found it extremely awkward, or c) thought it just wasn't as funny as Borat. I myself thought it was so outrageous, but still mildly entertaining.

And I loved Public Enemies! Christian Bale and Johnny Depp on the same screen definitely made my day. The plot wasn't really there, I agree, but I think that for me what really got to me was the scenery and raw, 1930s feel to it.
