New layout & summer reflections

I don’t know if any of you noticed, but for a while I kept updating my Twitter saying I’m working on a new layout, but I lied. I didn’t really start working on a new layout until yesterday, and I FINALLY (can’t stress this enough) finished it. I had the biggest design block ever, so I’m glad to have come up with this, and in such a short period of time. I must have scrapped at least 5 designs before I ended up with this.

Now for the reflection part. I must say, this summer has got to be one of my most productive ones since…God knows when:

I had (and still have) an internship, which I enjoyed 90% of the time¹.
I’ve had my share of fun, with 2 visits to the beach and 1 visit to NYC
I got into dramas again! Finished watching Schemes of a Beauty [Mei Ren Xin Ji]², Return of the Condor Heroes [Shen Diao Xia Lu]³, and now I’m watching Legend of the Condor Heroes [She Diao Ying Xiong Zhuan]⁴.
Started selling stuff on Ebay, because I have a shitload of useless junk at home. Woohoo for extra $$$!
I totally cleaned my room and organized my makeup and jewelry. Will do a video room tour soon
And somewhere in between all these activities, throw in karaoke, Korean BBQ, clubbing, and lots of shopping.

I’m sad that summer break is coming to an end, because this will be the last summer break I’ll probably have, because I’m graduating next May! Senior year, here I come!Error processing request

So much dying though! I swear, at least 5 people died in the first 2 episodes alone. But the emperor was super hot, I drooled while watching. ↩

I have a horrible design block right now too; I hope I can come up with something good sometime soon. I'll take a leaf from your book and not give up even if I end up scrapping five layouts.

It sounds like you've had an awesome summer! My summer was ridiculously long this year–nearly five months, the longest I've ever had. I don't think I even did much, but I don't regret how I spent it, either.

Aww, well even if this is your last summer break, it doesn't mean you can't still have fun during the summers! Or all year round for that matter.

Good to hear about your summer! I look back and think mine's been pretty routine but on thinking about it properly it's been good.
