Semiscon

Went to a concert sort of thing today with my parents in celebration of some holiday. I’ve been to these type of concerts before in Toronto, but it’s my first one here in the US. Basically they invite celebrities or groups from Taiwan to perform, and since my dad is a diplomat, we’d always get free tickets.

Anyways, the show started late, and that ticked me off. But the performance was amazing. It was by this group called Semiscon, and they sang acappella the entire time. It wasn’t just plain singing though; they had people who did background music, vocals, percussion, everything. It was really amazing, and if you closed your eyes and just listened, you couldn’t tell if the “background music” was sang or pre-recorded. I knew some of the songs they sang, and when they performed Dancing Queen, I had the hugest smile on my face. I feel like a dork, but it reminded me of the good times we had rehearsing for our musical. :3

Overall, not bad. I really liked their outfits too, especially the second one. *hearts*
