To fandom haters:
Dear couple hatelisting creators:
I don’t get it. Why do people bother making sites to things they HATE? I mean, you already hate it, hence it makes no sense that you’d want to spend any of your time and energy on what you dislike.
Also, why promote this hatred among the different couple-shippers in the same fandom? There is enough crap and bullcrap going on in the community without people promoting more hate and what not. So you’ve got a site bashing Mimato (or whatever fandom you’re bashing), and you’ve rallied supporters. What are you trying to prove? Isn’t Sorato (or whatever fandom you’re supporting) real as it is? Can’t other fans be allowed to like some other couple without you guys going down their throats?
So what if Mimato-shippers (or whatever fandom-shipper) “started it”? You’re proving just as childish as they are by responding to their actions. Honestly, build a Sorato (or whatever fandom you’re supporting) support site and spread the love all you want, but damn it, stop it with the hate!
no love, Mimi

I don’t get the couple-bashing, either. R-E-S-P-E-C-T, I say, and let the love flow instead of hate.
Mimi says:
To Ai: I don’t understand either, but I totally agree with you. What’s with all the hate nowadays anyways?

People can be very close-minded with their opinions. One thing that ticks me off are Pokemon haters. Pokemon is a great video game and anime franchise, and I don’t get why haters of it are very common. People make pictures of Pikachu dying, and other terrible things. They also think it’s controversial for the silliest reasons (which I disagree), and they blame it for causing seizures, or having no plot, and many other exaggerations they make up. I happen to like Pokemon, and is a loyal veteran fan since the days of the first generation. But I refuse to respect the haters because they’re a bunch of close-minded fans of The Lion King who praise that film to death (I hate that movie very much, it’s overrated and depressing). They are also cruel people that spam and hack Pokemon sites, so stay away from them. And please: Stop hating the Pokemon series. You may say that it’s not your cup of tea, but you shouldn’t be a snot about it. Now that I’m sure describes what many Pokemon lovers have to deal with. I have so much respect for Pokemon, not just because I am a game player myself, but because of all the hardships I’ve gone through, such as living in a fear that we might be hated by someone for liking Pokemon. But all of that does not stop us from loving Pokemon now, does it? Pokemon lovers are the true Pokemon trainers.
Pairing wars is also an issue that needed to be settled down and put to rest, especially in the video game fandoms in which they’re everywhere. There are way too much flame wars and negativity because of this. God, can’t everyone just respect each others’ opinions and not hassle about such little things that aren’t real? Heck, most video games have little to no evidence of romantic pairings whatsoever (Super Smash Bros is a fighting game, not a “love life” game, yet the majority of the fandom doesn’t think that way). What happened to the good old days, when video games were about having fun? For a change I would like to see a civil discussion about video games.

Woah woah, you talk as if I hate Pokemon, but I dunno if you can tell, I’m a big fan of the game myself. Now I wrote this post 3 years ago, and since then, I’ve decided that fandom haters seriously aren’t worth my time. I don’t agree with many of the things they do (like you mentioned) and I still think it’s stupid for anyone to waste so much energy on something they hate when obviously they can do something much more productive with their time. However, wherever you go, there will always be people hating the things you love (like how you hate The Lion King, which I also love), and you can’t always try to defend or fight back each one. So I’ve learned to accept that everyone has different opinions, and as long as they respect mine, I’ll respect theirs. Just don’t come to my site or email me flaming the shit out of something I love, or someone is gonna get some serious ass-whooping, lol.
