About

My name is Jenny, (former aliases Mimi or Shao), I was born in Taiwan on March 25, 1988, making me the fiery and passionate Aries. I was raised in Toronto, Canada, but have lived in Taiwan long enough to have the language and culture rub off on me, and now I’m currently living in the Maryland, USA.

I have a secret crush on web designing, much like guys have a secret crush on Smirnoff and chick flicks. It’s a secret because no one offline really knows about it, except my mom and a select few friends (like, 3). I have been attached to this hobby since 5th grade (which makes it 11 years now) ever since I made my first Pokemon page filled with stolen awards and images. I know, what a n00b.

When I’m not on the web, I swim, act, and model am busy living the life of a typical college student and trying to graduate in 4 years while double majoring in international business and marketing while minoring in Japanese. I love everything about the Asian culture, especially the food, fashion, and media (dramas, animes, and the other awesome shows they have on tv). During my spare time I enjoy shopping, reading good books , listening to music, playing video games (favorite: Pokemon), hanging out with friends, flipping through fashion magazines, experimenting with outfits, hair, and makeup, and spending way too much time on facebook.

I’m also a Christian girl who’s struggling to make God a priority in my daily life, amidst all the society and peer pressure to “go with the flow”. A lot of times I cave in to temptation, but that’s what’s so amazing about God’s grace; it never fails to catch me when I fall and lift me back up again. a few of my favorite things

Super Girl?

Is my blog/collective/online presence of awesomeness. Riyuu.org was on September 1st, 2005 at Domainsite and is currently hosted by Maja. Holdfire and Cirtex are some alternatives if you are looking for a quality host at affordable prices. Why Super Girl? Because I’m full of awesomeness, that’s why. Alright, no, it’s actually named after Tachikawa Mimi’s (from Digimon, who happens to be my all-time favorite anime heroine) theme song.
